The last volcanic erruption occured in 230 bc, famous historians and poets reported the last volcanic erruption such as Pausanias, Ovidios and Stravon. The peninsula belongs to the volcanic arc of Aegean islands which are Methana, Milos, Santorini, Nisiros and Kos.

By a taxi, bus or ship you can visit Nafplio the first capital of Greece, Epidavros the well known ancient theatre, Spetses island or Hydra island and ancient Corinth. Near to Methana you can visit the historical volcano of Methana, the hot springs (Methana Volcanic SPA), the fishing village Vathy and the other villages of the peninsula, the island of Poros and the island of Aegina.

 | DOMNIKIWed 07 Sep, 2016 | Καλό ξενοδοχείο σε ωραίο σημείοΔωμάτια λειτουργικά (περιείχαν ότι χρειάζεται). Στενό το μπάνιο (δύσκολα άνοιγε η πόρτα λόγω της πετσετοθήκης από πίσω!!) Σε καλό σημείο με ωραία θέα. Θα μπορούσε να γίνει κάτι να προστατεύονται τα μπροστινά δωμάτια από τον υπερβολικό ήλιο το πρωί (Τέντες όπως είχαν άλλα ξενοδοχεία ή ομπρέλλες θαλάσσης δεμένες στα κάγκελα) Το πρωϊνό καλό αλλά πολύ τυποποιημένο. Δύο ή τρία κουτάκια μικρά μαρμελάδας (αντί συνέχεια ένα φακελάκι) και φρέσκο ψωμί (αντί μόνο κρίς-κρις), δεν κοστίζουν τίποτα. Καθαριότητα υπήρχε στα δωμάτια και αρκετά εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό. Γενικά θα ξαναπήγαινα. | 4 |
